How to change the language on Netflix

TV or TV streaming device

1. Open the Netflix app, then go to the profile selection screen.

2. Go to the profile you want to edit and select the Edit icon.

3. Select Language.

4. Choose a language. The new language will automatically save.

5. Select Done.

Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. In the lower right, tap My Netflix.

3. At the top, tap the profile name.

4. Tap Manage Profiles.

5. Choose the profile you want to edit.

6. Tap Display Language.

7. Choose a language. The new language will automatically save.

Web browser

1. Using a browser, go to your Account page.

2. Select Profiles, then choose a profile.

3. Select Languages.

4. Choose a Display Language.

5. Select Save.

   • If you don't see the language change on the device, you may need to sign out and then sign back in.

You can see available languages for each title, though availability may vary depending on the title.

TV or TV streaming device

1. Open the Netflix app, then start playing a TV show or movie.

2. Pause Netflix, then select the player controls at the bottom of the screen.

3. Select Other.

4. Choose the languages you’d like for Audio and Subtitles. Your choices will automatically save.

Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. In the lower right, tap My Netflix.

3. At the top, tap the profile name.

4. Tap Manage Profiles.

5. Choose the profile you want to edit.

6. Tap Audio & Subtitles.

7. Choose the Audio & Subtitles you'd like. The new languages will automatically save.

Web browser

1. Using a browser, go to your Account page.

2. Select Profiles, then choose a profile.

3. Select Languages.

4. Choose the Audio and subtitle languages you'd like.

5. Select Save.
